The sweets of Rhodes have a name. Stani!

Gule took us back three generations, as she told us that her grandfather Ibrahim Sarri Hassan, coming from Turkey, decided to open a dairy shop. He inaugurated it in 1952 and named it Stani, after selling milk-based products. Rice milk puddings, creams and yogurts. Over the years the store passed into the hands of Ibrahim's children and was enriched with more options. Now in Stani stores, you can find creams, sweets, ice creams, treats, cakes and savory snacks.

We asked Guelle to tell us which sweets she would suggest us to try from her shop. The answer was milk pudding, baklava, kadaifi with ice cream and chocolate bar with ice cream. We will also add the characteristic cream of Stani, which you should definitely try, if you have not already done so.

In Rhodes there are 5 stores named Stani. The largest is in the center of Rhodes in Agia Anastasia. The rest are in Ixia, Ialyssos, Rodini, and Ethnikis Antistaseos. All stores belong to family members, however there is the possibility of franchising and expansion of the chain.

What has made Stani stand out is the quality of the materials that are used, as well as the secret recipes. A tradition that passes the test of time and memories that wake up with a bite.
